✨ Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra 2.46: sthira-sukham-āsanam. Sthira and Sukha. Steadiness and ease. Two of the qualities that should make up each and every yoga posture throughout your practice.🧘🏼‍♀️❤️📿

Practicing yoga with strength and in a relaxed manner gives rise to harmony with the physical body.

Steadiness being more than just willing yourself to stay still. But a profound, intentional stillness of both the body and mind. And ease; joyfulness without any force. Getting the ego out of the way to completely and wholly experience each asana.💕

Sthira and Sukha are extremely important parts of your yoga practice. And I feel like they are also important in every aspect of life. A sense of steadiness and ease in everything you do leads to a balanced life.
