Balancing on a Ledge

✨ First day of virtual learning/homeschooling, and I definitely feel like I’m balancing on a ledge! ❤️🧘🏼‍♀️📿
⠀⠀⠀⠀
For our family, this new school style will mean bouncing our elementary-aged child back and forth during the day so my husband and I can both work. It’s probably not going to be very smooth for the weeks (or longer) that this schedule lasts, but I’m trying to stay with my breath. I know nothing is forever. Still this uncertainty feels so overwhelming. 
⠀⠀⠀⠀
And as difficult as these days may be, the moments are still precious. This is my daughter’s one and only childhood. We will not get these days back. We have to make the very best of the situation at hand. 💕

I may not have much choice in what is happening, but I can control how I react. And this is exactly what yoga practice prepares us for. We find our edges on our mats so that when we’re thrown onto a ledge in life, we know how to balance, to breathe, and not fall. We know how to stay calm. Focused. Positive. Present.

So here we go... let this newest adventure begin!🤗
